Lindsey – Lindsey has worked in the early childhood field since 2005. She began working as a teacher for Kid’s Castle, and then took a position as the financial director in 2014. Lindsey earned her teacher certification through Gateway Technical College, completed the pyramid model training, earned her administrative credential through UW-Platteville, and is currently working towards her associate degree in early childhood education at NWTC. Lindsey has experience working with children from infancy to 13 years of age and enjoys how every day brings something new. Lindsey’s favorite part of working in this field is seeing children experiencing new things and providing a safe environment for them. She enjoys participating in outdoor activities, such as going to the beach, boating, and playing volleyball with her family. She likes finding new home decorating ideas, DIY projects, and traveling.
Kris – Kris has been in the early childhood field since 2004 and is the owner of Kid’s Castle. She earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from UW-Eau Claire, and completed her administrative credential through UW-Milwaukee. Kris enjoys working with the families as a unit, providing resources if needed to ensure the children and families’ needs are met, and watching the excitement children have for learning new things. She has been married to her husband, Dan for 26 years and they have 4 grown children together, Dan, Tony, Paige and Noah. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, listening to music, traveling and baking.
Angelia – Angelia has been in the early childhood field since 2010. She has experience working with children with special needs, and typically-developing children from infancy through school age. She began her career at Kid’s Castle in 2016 as a teacher, and then accepted a position as the curriculum director in 2018. Angelia has always had a passion for working with young children and enjoys watching children grow, learn and develop their own unique personalities, as well as getting to know the families. Angelia earned her preschool and administrative credential through UW-Platteville and bachelor's degree in early childhood education from UW-Whitewater. She has been married to her husband, Matt since June of 2015 and has a son named Levi. Outside of working and keeping up with school, she enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

STAFF
Ms. Catie - Catie began working in the childcare field in 2012, and began at Kid’s Castle in October of 2021. She took some early education courses through UW-Platteville before starting her own family, and then she did home school her oldest child before coming back into the field. She is CPR, AED, and First Aid certified. Catie enjoys to watch the little ones realize when they hit milestones – how their faces light up, and they get super excited! She is a mom of 3 very energetic and adventurous children (2, 4 & 6), so in her free time, she enjoys shooting her bow, and watching her kids grow on her family farm where they take care of the animals and help in the garden.

Ms. Kari – Kari has been in the early childhood field since 1997, and has been with Kid’s Castle since 2017. She studied early childhood education at Gateway Technical College, and continues to expand her knowledge in the field with continuing education courses and trainings. Her favorite part about working with children is watching them grow and learn. Kari has three children of her own, and enjoys cooking, walking her dog and spending time with her family.

Ms. Mahala - Mahala began working at Kid’s Castle in January 2021. She attended UW-Oshkosh for a year and a half, then transferred to Gateway Technical College and is currently pursuing her degree in early childhood education. Her favorite part of teaching is being able to apply what she learns in school in her classroom. She loves being able to teach children the basics of life; sharing, manners, colors, shapes, ABC’s, numbers, etc. She has always loved being around children ever since she began babysitting at age 13. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends. She loves the outdoors, traveling or just relaxing.

Ms. Kim – Kim has been in the early childhood field since 2014 and began working at Kid’s Castle since 2019. She has experience working with children from infancy to fifth grade. Kim graduated from Cardinal Stritch University with her bachelor’s degree in early elementary education. She loves getting to be a part of the children’s development while in her classroom. In her spare time, Kim enjoys drawing, watching movies, spending time outdoors (especially during Fall), and being with family and friends. She also loves Disney!

Ms. Montana - Montana has been with Kid’s Castle since December 2021. She has wanted to be a teacher ever since she can remember, and will be graduating from Gateway Technical College with her Associate’s degree in early childhood education. The best part about working with children is seeing their face light up when she arrives each morning and how they all run up to say hi. She also loves how excited they get when they try something new. Montana is the youngest in her family, and has 3 older brothers, and 2 dogs. She enjoys reading, watching movies and painting in her free time.

Ms. Nikiya - Nikiya has been in the childcare field since 2013, and began working at Kid’s Castle in June of 2021. She has taken some early childhood education courses through Gateway Technical College. Her favorite part about teaching is seeing her students learn and blossom into their own person. She loves seeing them gain their own personality and independence. She enjoys spending time with family & friends, singing, and doing art in her free time.

Ms. Sarah – Sarah has been in the early childhood field since 1992, and has been at Kid’s Castle since 2015. Sarah went to Gateway Technical College and earned her assistant teacher certificate. She has also done the infant & toddler pyramid model training. Sarah’s favorite part of teaching is being able to guide and teach the children, and she loves getting hugs from them. She is married and has 2 daughters and enjoys spending time with family and friends in her free time.

Ms. Toni - Toni began working with Kid’s Castle in October 2021. She has her assistant teacher certification through Early Education Station, and is currently working towards her teacher certification. Toni has always enjoyed working with children ever since she was a teenager. Her favorite part of teaching is being able to make an impact, big or small, on young lives since after all, children are our future. She has 5 children with her partner, and they enjoy many family activities, such as picnics, beach days, zoos, museums, and bowling. Most of all, she loves to spend time with family in her free time.

Mr. Aiden – Mr. Aiden began working for Kid’s Castle in the summer of 2020. He is a
sophomore in high school, and is excited to gain more experience in the childcare field. Mr. Aiden helps out in classrooms in the afternoons, and enjoys working with the children and watching them grow. In his free time, he likes shopping and going out to eat with friends. |
Ms. Amy – Ms. Amy is new to the childcare field, and started working at Kid’s Castle in
June 2022. She has experience babysitting for 25 years and has always wanted to be a teacher. She really enjoys working with the babies, and loves to be a part of hearing their some of their first words or witnessing their first steps. Amy has 2 daughters that are her world. In her free time, she enjoys taking her dogs for walks in the park or at the beach. She loves traveling to different places and exploring new areas. |
Ms. Tracy – Ms. Tracy has been working at Kid’s Castle since February 2020. She
works at Bradford High School as a lunch lady in the morning, and then helps in classrooms here in the afternoons. Working with children and building relationships with them is more rewarding than she could have ever imagined. In her free time, she enjoys music, reading and spending time with friends. |
Ms. Grace – Ms. Grace has been in the childcare field since 2017 when she was only
14 years old, and began working for Kid’s Castle in September 2022. She took all of the childhood education classes in high school and has learned many things through pure experience in the field. Ms. Grace’s favorite thing about working with children is watching them grow; whether it be emotionally, physically, or intellectually. She also enjoys making personal connections with the children and seeing them excited to come to school. In her free time, Grace likes cross-stitching and going to local theater productions. She is also a big fan of the Harry Potter movies. |
