Nutrition
Kid’s Castle provides nutritious snacks and a hot lunch every day. Good nutrition is essential to a child’s complete well-being. Kid’s Castle partners with Quality Catering for Kid’s out of Gurnee, Illinois, for our preschool lunches. A hot lunch and snack menu are posted in the center. In our 3-5 year-old rooms, we provide meals in a “family style” atmosphere where children may serve themselves. This encourages children to practice social skills such as taking turns, passing food to others, using manners and helping to set the table.
Nutritional Guidelines we follow. CACFP is a national food program through Wisconsin Department of Education helps provide funding for nutritious meals and snacks served to children and adults receiving day care. Security
Our number one priority is the safety of the children in our care. Kid’s Castle uses a locked security system which parents can access through fingerprint scan or individual codes. The child management system we use is Procare. Parents are given a registration code to register their fingerprint which will then allow access to the building. It is expected that parents and designees will use this system to get into the building every day that their children attend.
